Dedicated to the pursuit of educational excellence in East Aurora
Since our inception in 1988, our not-for-profit has funded over $1.2 million in grants
for educational programs and opportunities that fall outside of the East Aurora School District’s
operating budget. By equipping passionate teachers and administrators with the resources they need to bring their innovative dreams to life, we enhance the educational experience for all students in the District and positively impact the broader East Aurora community.
About Us
The East Aurora Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was inspired by Dr. James Ford and established in 1988 to benefit students and faculty by enriching the culture in the East Aurora Schools. For over 35 years, the foundation has had the unique opportunity to help support and empower the dynamic educational experience East Aurora schools offer students. Managed by a volunteer board of directors and a close-knit staff team, the foundation is a separate and independent
organization from the East Aurora School District, but works hand in hand with the District’s teachers and administrators to further access to innovative educational opportunities. The foundation relies solely on private donations and community support to fulfill its mission: enhancing the educational experience of East Aurora students.
